LANDMARK TRUST: Coop House in Cumbria - February 2004 (Built circa 1760)

The Coop House stands on the bank of the River Esk, but while we were there it very nearly went floating off! Jason, Claire and I watched nervously on our first day as the rain hammered down and the water level got higher and higher. Thankfully we stayed home and dry and made merry in our very own little castle. Once again, a lovely time was had and we even ventured out on trips to nearby Gretna and Carlisle.
