LANDMARK TRUST: Swarkestone Pavilion in Derbyshire - March 2007 (Built circa 1632)

Over the years this place been used for all sorts of things from jousting to bear baiting and even for a photo shoot by the Rolling Stones. We stayed from Monday to Friday which meant we were able to properly relax into our roles as gaylords of the manor! The Landmark Trust provide only basic provisions so we thought ahead and took along lots of stuff to keep us amused. Two laptops with digital TV receiver, iPods, digital cameras, DVDs, CDs and a plaster of Paris model kit all kept us well-occupied.
